Understanding the Diagnosis

  • What diagnosis has been identified, and what does it mean?
  • How confident are you in this diagnosis?
  • Are there other possible explanations for these symptoms?
  • What should we expect in the short term and long term?
  • Are there lifestyle, cultural, or environmental factors that may be influencing symptoms?

Understanding the Treatment Plan

  • What is the goal of treatment at this time?
  • What improvements should we look for?
  • How long should it take to notice a change?
  • How will we know if the treatment is working?
  • How can we support daily routines, sleep, nutrition, or stress levels to help treatment work better?

Questions About Medication

  • Why are you recommending this specific medication?
  • What symptoms is it meant to help with?
  • When should we expect to see changes?
  • What are the most common side effects?
  • Which side effects need immediate medical attention?
  • What should we do if the medication seems to make symptoms worse?
  • Does this require blood work or other monitoring?
  • Are there wellness strategies that can support the effectiveness of this medication?
