learn moreThe History of Hole Out For Hope
Over twenty years ago, two friends named Fred Howe and Craig Sindrey took on the challenge of organizing a charity golf tournament fundraiser in support of IAM.
Â
When they first met, Fred and Craig realized they had much in common: they both love golf, and, like so many of us, both of their families have a history of complex mental illness. The pair joined forces to help make a positive difference in the lives of Canadians–and like that, Hole out for Hope was born.
Â
Now joined by talented woodworker and passionate IAM supporter Terry Doyle, this trio has continued to raise the bar for this incredible event year after year, making this annual extravaganza one of the most fun-filled ways to support a better future for mental health.
Terry Doyle’s Woodworking Workshop
Talented woodworker Terry Doyle has supported Hole out for Hope for years by donating his beautiful artisanal creations to be sold in silent auctions. Terry has developed an entire catalogue of his unique works, with all net proceeds giving back to IAM.
We here at IAM are deeply grateful for the incredible support of Fred, Craig, and Terry–as well as for the support of all the unbelievable sponsors of Hole out for Hope!
