What is Risperdal Consta used for?
Used to treat schizophrenia and related psychotic illnesses in adults.
May also be used for bipolar disorder.
How should I take Risperdal Consta?
Injection given every 2 weeks by a healthcare provider.
Available as 12.5 mg, 25 mg, 37.5 mg, 50 mg vials.
Usual dose: 25 mg every 2 weeks, adjusted individually.
