What is Rexulti used for?
Treatment of schizophrenia in adults.
May also be used for depression.
How should I take Rexulti?
Take once daily, with or without food.
Available in 0.25–4 mg strengths.
Typical dose range: 2–4 mg/day.

- Weight gain
- High triglycerides
- EPS
- Restlessness
- Headache
- Drowsiness
Rare but serious side effects
Same as other atypicals:
- Agranulocytosis
- Stroke
- Anaphylaxis
- DKA
- NMS
Warnings/Precautions
Not approved for dementia-related psychosis.
Medication interactions
Increase levels:
- Ketoconazole
- Quinidine
- Bupropion
Decrease levels:
- Rifampin
- Carbamazepine
- John’s Wort
- Other interactions:
- Diphenhydramine
- Lorazepam/zopiclone
- Fentanyl
- Dopamine agonists
